Is chiropractic covered by health insurance in Germany?
You do not need a referral or prescription to book with our chiropractic team.aboutchiro is a private practice. All treatments are considered private services. Private health insurance companies will usually cover the cost if you provide them with a bill.The services of alternative practitioners are not part of the standard benefits of statutory health insurance. Some statutory health insurance companies reimburse or subsidise services provided by alternative practitioners, but unfortunately this is rare.

Fee schedule
We bill according to the fee schedule for alternative practitioners (GeBüH). A large number of private health insurance companies cover our treatments, but this must be clarified with your own health insurance company, we can not contact the insurance companies for you. Please check with your health insurance company before booking an appointment.
Payment
Payment for your treatment must be made at the end of your appointment. You will receive a paper or electronic invoice so that you can contact your insurance company directly. We accept card payment and cash.
Osteopathic association?
We do not belong to any osteopathic association and the statutory health insurance companies do not cover the costs of osteopathic services.
What is the cost of treatment in the practice?
Initial treatment: (medical history, detailed consultation, initial physical and neurological examination & initial treatment & rehabilitation plan)- 40 minutes - € 120
Follow-up treatment: (consultation, re-examination and treatment) - 20 minutes - € 75.Extended follow-up treatment: (consultation, progress check, discussion of training plan and treatment) – 30 minutes – €85
