Yes, this course, the Back Reset, and I as the course instructor, are certified by the ZPP, the Central Prevention Testing Center, as a so-called online course. The ZPP is responsible for certification on behalf of all statutory health insurance companies.
The exercises in the training program are designed so that you don't need any special training equipment. However, we recommend that you have a training mat and, for some exercises, a hard spikey ball to hand.
Everyone is welcome in our classes. As our program only involves training with your own body weight, the training is not restricted to a specific age group or training level.
The aim of this course is to help you alleviate persistent or recurring back pain through targeted training. However, it is important that you do not have any serious back injuries or damage. If you suffer from a serious back problem, please check with your doctor in advance to determine the extent to which you can exercise. Please also note the contraindications. The exercises in this course are deliberately designed to minimize the strain on your back.
- Insured persons with "musculoskeletal disorders requiring treatment" (contraindications) are excluded.
- Persons with existing musculoskeletal disorders that require further treatment cannot take part in this course.
- Acute injuries or trauma: People who have recently suffered a back injury (e.g. fractures, severe muscle strains or herniated discs) should consult a doctor before starting the course. Intensive training could aggravate acute injuries.
- Recent surgery: Participants who have recently undergone spinal or abdominal surgery should wait until they are fully recovered and have medical clearance to begin core and back training.
- Uncontrolled medical conditions: Individuals with uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes or severe osteoporosis may need to adjust the intensity or type of exercise to avoid injury or complications.
- Persistent or severe neurological symptoms: Participants with numbness, tingling or radiating pain in the leg should be cautious. Such symptoms may indicate nerve compression, which could be aggravated by certain exercises.
- Pregnancy (beyond the first trimester): From the second trimester onwards, certain trunk and back exercises can put too much pressure on the spine and abdominal area. It is recommended to consult a doctor to ensure safety.
Please contact me directly if you have any questions about your current state of health.
